On August 25th to 27th, "ADLINK Technology Foundation" holds a culture exchange program (Culture Feast) in Germany with three junior high schools including Gesamtschule An der Erft, Liebfrauenschule Mülhausen, and Lise-Meitner-Gymnasium. The program is divided into three arts performances, in which the students form "National Taiwan College of Performing Arts" will fill the German friends with enthusiasm. It’s our honor to invite principal and vice principal from Gesamtschule An der Erft and Chinese school, Harn-Fen Ni, president of ADLINK Technology Foundation, Ms. Li-li, Chen, member of Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission, and other friends overseas to join us.
After an amazing flag show at the beginning, follows acrobatics displays and traditional Chinese music performances will fascinate and brighten the eyes of everyone. Following are Beijing Opera, which shows astonishing tricks of stilts, and lots of amazing acrobatics such as contortion, bricks show, plates show, and Gong-Fu. Besides, traditional musical instruments of Chinese flute, Zhongruan, and guzheng also show the beauty of Chinese cultures.
President of ADLINK Technology Foundation, Harn-Fen Ni, said: After the full performance, we arrange astonishing workshops of performing arts, such as Beijing Opera, bricks practice, Chinese yo-yo, and floating fans. Through the workshop, children can experience different cultures for themselves, and at the same time enhance their arts interaction with Germany
Mr. Jian-Yuan, Chen, principal of Gesamtschule An der Erft said: ADLINK Technology Foundation has sponsored students from National Taiwan College of Performing Arts for several years. In this culture exchange program, Ms. Harn-Fen, Ni takes children from ADLINK Cross-Straits children summer camp, which is hold each year to help children in need, and two owners of Ms. Huang Yulee Art Scholarship, which is built to encourage students who study hard and have arts talents. Besides, she also invited Ms. Wei-Chien, Ma and Ms. Pei-Yu, Hung, teachers from National Taiwan College of Performing Arts to cooperate. Though this program, students from Taiwan can expand their horizons and students in Germany can also learn Chinese cultures by sharing and experiencing from workshops. I think this culture exchange program is indeed meaningful and worthwhile.
